For friends & family: Yes, you can bring the commercial vehicle for inspection on behalf. However, owner is required to be present for verification and transfer of ownership (through thumbprint system) during handover process.

Appointment
1. Submit your car detail and contact detail on our website, www.mytruckbid.my, for our Customer Service team to call you or book an appointment through the system.
Inspection
1. Turn up for the appointment with following documents:

a. Registration card/VOC.

b. Spare keys (if any)

c. Approved Permit (AP) (for imported, reconditioned car)*
.
d. Hire Purchase Settlement (HP) (for cash with outstanding loan amount)
.
e. Vehicle Invoice (for cash purchase)
.
f. Third party authorization letter (for vehicle under different name).
2. Inspection appointment shall not take longer than 30 minutes per vehicle. One of our experienced auto inspectors will conduct a thorough inspection of your vehicle, which includes a short road test, if possible. The road drive helps us to determine the realistic value of your vehicle. Photos will also be taken for record and reporting purposes.
3. We will provide a reference price* and you may accept or opt for bidding at a price you prefer**.
*Only applicable for selected car make and models.

Bidding Platform

Your vehicle will be listed for bidding by 500+ registered used truck dealers in Malaysia. In the event your vehicle is successful in bidding, you will have 24 hours to accept or reject the bid. If you accept, you will be given 5 days to complete the documentation and hand over the truck to us.
If your truck doesn't receive any bids from dealers, you will have 2 more times to put your truck on bidding platform for the next bidding session. The subsequent starting bid price (for the 1st and 2nd rebidding) will be a 5% diminished value based on the previous starting bid price per session.

The whole appointment shall not take longer than 30 minutes per vehicle. One of our experienced auto inspectors will conduct a thorough inspection of your vehicle, which includes a short road test, if possible. The road drive helps us to determine the realistic value of your truck. Photos will also be taken for record and reporting purposes.
We will offer you a recommended price for your car on the spot which can used as the reference price point when your truck is listed on bidding platform. We'll schedule to put your truck up for 3h bidding* amongst our Certified Used Truck Dealers network - of which the reserve price shall be agreed upon between mytruckbid.my and yourself prior to bidding.
*Bidding hours may change at mytruckbid.my’s sole and only discretion.

You will receive an email or SMS to view your live bidding for your vehicle. Here are the steps:


1. Click on the link sent to you and enter your email as the username.

2. Proceed to setting up your own password (It requires at least 8 characters, with 1 capital letter, 1 numeric and symbol each).

3. Log in successfully to view the bid.

You have 2 options.

(a)  Choose first or second rebidding (applicable within 5 days from the first bidding date) at a lower starting bid price. The subsequent starting bid price (for the 1st and 2nd rebidding) will be a 5% diminished value based on the previous starting bid price per session. Should there be no bids after the 2nd attempt, you can choose to continue to continue the process or choose Option (b).
(b)  Choose to list the vehicle on mytruck.my – Malaysia Largest Platform for Truck. List it at market price and receive offers from potential buyers. This is not a bidding platform therefore all sales process will be handled by mytruck.my. For more information, visit www.mytruck.my.

You will need to release the vehicle to us within 5 days from the day you agreed to accept our bid price. Our staff will contact you to arrange for:
  a) Original registration card
b) Business registration, Form 49 & 9 & 24

c) Copy of Director(s) NRIC

d) Cash invoice (if applicable)

e) JPJ resolution letter (with company letterhead)

f) Disposal letter (with company letterhead)

g) Spare Keys

h) Vehicle
If we have not received any of these documents, we will hold RM3,000* of the selling price as collateral pending completion.
